While we're at it, how 'bout making some new ones, too!!

Jocks in Our Midst...We're not getting Older, We're Getting Better!
SO ARE YOU PLAYING HOOPS, RUNNING ROAD RACES, GOLFING, TENNIS?
Send a photo and a brief explanation of how you're staying active these days.

alumni@falcons73.com

As our 53rd birthdays roll around it's nice to see that alot of our alumni are staying as active as ever.  If you are continuing your old athletic ways, or are pursuing sports that you'd never thought you'd be competing in, let us know and send some photos to share, so that you can inspire your classmates to good times and good health.
Chuck Parisi Celebrates Another Year

Chuck is still as athletic as ever, and  our former championship shot putter is now doing triathlons with his 2 sons.  Instead of blowing out the candles on his cake, Chuck was kayaking, running and biking !  Way to go, Big Guy!

Janet Toepert-Wagner
is a Real All-American Girl

Janet has spent this summer competing in the USATF Masters Track and Field circuit.  Throughout her competitions throwing the Shot, Discus and Hammer, she has managed to attain All-American Status along with State and Regional Titles and is ranked in the nation in her age group.  Both of her children are throwers (in fact her son, PA state collegiate champion, coaches her in the hammer), so a fun family outing is not to go biking in the park, but to throw a little down at the school!

VINTAGE PHOTOS
Thanks to Rich Van Wyk,Franklin School Grad,we have some nostalgic photos for those alumni from Miss Mardirossian's 3rd Grade Class at Franklin School. These shots are circa 1964 and were taken on a field trip at "Old Museum Village".  They will eventually be added to the Franklin School webpage on this site, but I wanted you to be able to see them ASAP.  You should be able to recognize Phil Desplat, Emil Rymarz, Patrick Baranello, Mark Buggle, and for those with a great memory, Leland Ritchie.

*RichV,Emil, & Leland at the Stocks
*Phil the Photographer....he hasn't changed a bit!
*Emil in the stocks
*Mark, Leland, Emil, Pat B, and 2 mystery kids along with someone's mom.
(can you identify any of the unknown people?)

Not to be outdone, Chris Slacke cleaned out his attic and found this great shot of the
Long School Gang.
Here's how he ID'd everyone:
Top, L-R - Chris Mazzei (Meri's brother, class of '71), Pete Woelfel and a neighbor, Andy Maggio Mid, L-R - Tom Eck, neighbor Greg Janicek and Paul Chazen Bottom, L-R - Bill Devine, John Woelfel (Pete's little brother), me and Richie Shaw, class of '75

The two neighbor kids moved away before SBHS years, and Pete's brother passed away around 1980, I think - maybe earlier.
